Can Crested Geckos Eat Strawberries?

Yes, crested geckos can eat strawberries!

Strawberries offer good stuff like vitamins and antioxidants such as vitamin C and manganese, which help keep them healthy and growing well.

However, the following two things you must keep in mind:

1) Treat, not staple!

Strawberries shouldn’t be a main course.

They don’t have the perfect balance of calcium to phosphorus that cresties need.

Calcium helps make strong bones and muscles, while phosphorus is vital for many body functions.

Too much of one or the other can cause issues like metabolic bone disease.

So, just give them strawberries as a treat, maybe once a month.

2) Keep it small

A little goes a long way.

Just chop up one strawberry into small pieces for an adult gecko.

Remember, their main diet should be commercial crested gecko diet (CGD) to make sure they’re getting all the right nutrients.

Hope this helps…
