Do smart plugs work with Siri to manage HDMI inputs on a TV?

Smart plugs can be used to turn on or off a TV that is plugged into them, but they cannot directly control the HDMI inputs on the TV.

To do that, you would need a device that supports HDMI-CEC, such as an Apple TV, a Roku TV, or a smart TV with a built-in voice assistant.

Alternatively, you could use a Harmony Hub or a similar device that can send infrared commands to your TV.

Some smart plugs, such as the TP-Link Kasa Smart Plug Mini, are compatible with Siri via a HomePod mini.

This means you can use voice commands to control the smart plug, and by extension, the TV.
