How to Remove ‘LG Channels’ App from Your LG TV

If you’re fed up with the low-quality Live TV on the ‘LG Channels’ app or simply want to get rid of it, you can easily delete the app from your TV.

But how do you do that?

There are a few ways to go about it.

The simple method: Just change your region to “Others” instead of your current country. This will disable the app.

However, if you want to completely remove it from your TV,

  1. Press the Home button on your TV remote to go to the Home menu.
  2. Find and select the “LG Channels” app, then press and hold it for 3 seconds until a delete (X) mark appears above the app.
  3. Choose the delete (X) mark, and a message will pop up asking, “Are you sure you want to delete it?”
  4. Select “Yes” to confirm the deletion.

But if LG doesn’t let you delete the app, simply remove the “I Agree” checkmark next to LG Channels conditions in the “User Agreements” section of the settings menu.

For this, go to Settings > All Settings > Support > Privacy & Terms > User Agreements.

Now untick the ‘I Agree’ checkmark and then restart the TV.

That’s it…
