How to set default HDMI input on Hisense TV?

If you want your TV to automatically switch to an input when turned on and don’t want to change it manually again and again, then simply change the default input.

Here’s how:

  1. Press the Menu button on your remote.
  2. Scroll through the options and select “Input.”
  3. Move up and down the input menu to select the desired HDMI input.
  4. Finally, press ‘OK‘ to confirm your selection.

If you want to set the TV to automatically turn on with the last used input, follow these additional steps:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Go to System.
  3. Go to Power & Energy.
  4. Choose “Power on behavior.”
  5. Select “Last used input”.

But if you have a Hisense Roku TV, you can also change the input using the Roku app on your smartphone.

Simply, download and install the Roku app on your phone, connect it to the same Wi-Fi network as your TV, and follow the instructions in the app to change the input.

For Hisense TVs with HDMI CEC enabled, you can set the TV to automatically turn on when a CEC-compatible external device is turned on.

To do this, go to Settings > Inputs > TV auto power on and set it to “On“.
