ONN TV volume too Low (How to Fix)

If the volume on your ONN TV is too low, making it difficult to hear, the most likely reasons are:

  • Issues with Dolby Digital Settings.
  • Incorrect HDMI CEC Settings.
  • The TV encountered a temporary system glitch.
  • The speaker might be faulty.
However, the first thing you need to do is plug a new speaker into the TV and check if the sound is working now.

If the sound is working, the TV’s internal speaker is faulty. If not, proceed with the following steps:

  1. Perform an HDMI reset: Disconnect the TV from the power outlet and all HDMI connected devices. Wait for 5 minutes. During this time, press and hold the TV’s power button for about 30 seconds. Once done, power the TV back on.
  2. Reset TV Audio/Picture Settings: Navigate to the Home screen, select Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Reset TV audio/picture. This will reset all TV picture and audio settings to their original default values.
  3. Check Cables and Connection Points: Ensure that the cables and connection points are secure and not damaged, as this can sometimes cause audio issues.
  4. And also, why not try a factory reset?

Hope this helps!

If none of the above steps works, you need to replace the mainboard or the audio processing unit.
