How To Restart/Reboot an ONN Roku TV

There are two ways to restart an Onn TV, depending on whether you want to do a simple restart or a factory reset.

Simple restart:

This is a quick way to reboot the TV and clear any temporary glitches or freezes.

It won’t erase any of your settings or data.

Here’s how to do it:

• Using the remote:
  • Press the Home button on your remote.
  • Scroll down to Settings and select it.
  • Go to System and then Power menu.
  • Choose Restart and confirm your selection.
• Using the TV buttons:
  • Locate the power button on the back of your TV.
  • Press and hold the button for about 10 seconds, until the TV turns off.
  • Release the button and wait for the TV to fully power down.
  • Press the power button again to turn the TV back on.

Factory reset

This will erase all of your settings and data from the TV and restore it to its factory defaults.

You’ll need to set it up again from scratch.

Here’s how to do it:

• Using the remote:
  • Press the Home button on your remote.
  • Scroll down to Settings and select it.
  • Go to System and then Advanced system settings.
  • Choose Factory reset and confirm your selection.
• Using the TV buttons:
  • Locate the reset button on the back of your TV. It may be located near the power button or in a recessed hole.
  • Use a paperclip or similar object to press and hold the button for about 15 seconds.
  • The TV will turn off and then back on, and the factory reset process will begin.
