Not all Hisense TVs support VRR, and even those that do may require some settings to be changed.
So, before you jump, make sure your TV model supports VRR.
If your TV supports it, but you can’t enable it, do the following things:
- Upgrade your TV’s firmware to the latest version. (This is a must)
- Make sure your source device supports VRR and has it enabled. For example, if you are using a PS5, you need to go to the screen and video settings and turn on VRR.
- Try disabling VRR on the Xbox and enabling FreeSync on the TV, or vice versa.
- Make sure you are using a HDMI 2.1 cable and port.
That’s it…
If the above methods don’t solve the issue, there is nothing more you can do.
Contact Hisense and let them know that you are facing this issue with your TV and ask them to send you an updated firmware fixing this problem.
Hope this helps!
