Why is Hisense TV Picture mode constantly changing?

Well, this issue is very common, not only on Hisense TVs but also on other top brands like LG, Samsung, and even TCL.

Before writing this, I checked out several user forums, including the most popular one, Reddit, and AVForums.

One user on Reddit reported that turning off the ACR fixed the issue, while another user on AVForums had to turn off Adaptive Contrast, Ultra Smooth Motion, Noise Reduction, and MPEG Noise Reduction in the Picture Mode Settings.

Aside from these settings, sometimes disabling the PIP mode also solves this issue.

So, based on these user interactions, I would suggest the following solutions:

  • Check if there is any available update for your TV. If any, update the TV right away!
  • If there is no update available, head over to the TV’s picture settings and ensure that no automatic settings are enabled, such as Adaptive Contrast or Ultra Smooth Motion.
  • Disable the PIP mode from the settings.
  • Unplug all third-party devices and ensure that there is no external interference causing the issue.

That’s it…

I hope this helps you fix the issue.
